A visit to the beautiful Bartow Pell Mansion

Gramatan Village members enjoyed a late summer day visiting a New York City landmark, the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum, located in nearby by Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum is one of the most beautifully restored historic houses in the City and it exemplifies a type of country living that existed in the Pelham Bay Park area in the early 19th Century. Following a docent led tour, our members enjoyed a picnic lunch in the enchanting gardens.
