Mediation: Your Tool For Turning Conflict into Productive Conversation or “You Don't Have to Lose Your Peace of Mind” Live presentation. Call our office at 337-1338 by 10/18 to reserve a seat.
Conflict happens. We argue and let resentments build, sometimes to the point where family, business or work relationships are seriously disrupted. At these times, the peace of mind we expected in our “golden years” feels stolen from us. Mediation, long used by governments and big businesses to resolve conflicts, has seen rapid expansion and today is used often by individuals and small businesses across the country, including in our own Bronxville community. It's effective, economical, fast, and confidential. Joan Chase, local resident and mediator, will discuss how mediation can help resolve a variety of issues facing senior citizens, including disputes concerning:
~Current living arrangements ~Maintenance of self and household ~Personal autonomy ~Approaching end-of-life matters ~Family relationships ~Financial/legal concerns ~Retirement from business ~Neighbors Joan will be joined by Jenny Besch of Westchester Mediation of CLUSTER, Inc. in presenting a live mediation session involving a senior who is upset because her grown child threatens to remove her driver's license. Learn how mediation can provide you with the opportunity and power to make your own decisions and deal effectively with the conflicts threatening your peace of mind..
